Four seasons

There is no bad weather in nature becasue every season is beautiful in its own way. If you love Kyiv or just plan to visit it, you should think beforehand of the best time to see the city's sights.

In autumn, the time when yellow-crimson leaves slowly cover the ground and the birds restlessly circle high in the sky, it's time to get aesthetic pleasure from the bright colors of nature.

Winter is not a reason to miss the heat and wait for the snow, cold, and frost to end as soon as possible. We should live in anticipation of holidays and miracles instead.

Kyiv is especially charming in spring. Botanical gardens are blooming with blasts of magnolias and lilacs.

In summer the capital offers to get out of a stuffy room and have both cool and beneficial rest. Unforgettable impressions and breathtaking views you will find in restaurants with panoramic terraces; and your evening will be more romantic while watching a movie in the open-air cinema.

You can stroll around the Volodymyrska hill, take a look at the picturesque Feofaniya park or attend interesting events such as Ukrainian Fashion Week, Gogolfest International Festival, Ukraine International Travel Market, Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon, etc.

In rainy weather, there is always an opportunity to hide in a cozy cafe, restaurant, cinema or theater.

When it is dry and warm outdoors you can admire the views of Kyiv from observation decks and panoramic terraces.

St.Nicholas Day, New Year, Christmas, Valentine's Day – you can celebrate these holidays both in the circle of loved ones at home and in a crowd of cheerful and affectionate people outside. Museum in Pyrohiv, National complex "Expocenter of Ukraine", Cossack settlement "Mamajeva Sloboda", Sophia Square are the main locations where the celebrations are usually arranged.

On St. Valentine’s Day the capital's restaurants and cafes cook special menus and meals, hotels, in turn,

also have pleasant gifts for you (dinner, discounts for accommodation, romantic tours, etc.).

You can spend a weekend at the ski resorts "Vyshgora", "Protasiv Yar" and ice arenas.

There you will have an opportunity to do your favorite sports like skiing or skating.

Spivoche pole hosts traditional tulip exhibitions, and Peremoha Park is covered with crocuses in spring.

You can spend spring days more actively: doing sports in the open air,

running in the picturesque parks and along the embankments, training in the legendary "Kachalka" in Hidropark.

"Dniprovska Riviera" out-of-town recreation complex offers you comfort, quality and infrastructure of European level; in Hidropark you can play volleyball, kayaking is offered at the sports center; on the best beaches you can sunbathe and refresh yourself on numerous lakes and gulfs.

In addition, you can take a boat trip on the Dnipro and attend a real aqua-discotheque.

Bright and different thematic events will be the final chord of the summer rest.
