The authors of the monument - the capital's craftsmen Volodymyr Kolinko and Georgiy Kurovsky, who for some years have been refining the ugly hemp in the city, cutting out quirky fish, boots, Pinocchio, a ballerina and many other works. The basis of the monument was a tree trunk, which was spoiled. A rather interesting technique was used when performing the hedgehog needles: the stump was tied up with a metal net, and screws fastened there. Many tourists leave coins in a grid, which is symbolic of unknown, but most likely, such a gesture means a desire to meet the hedgehog again.
